Yes, behind those sideburns is THE Malcolm Twist of Australia; formally of New York City, Singapore and New Zealand before that. H&P has been lucky enough to have access to Malcolm’s brain for the past 2 years where he has helped craft the ideas AND visuals behind some of our greatest projects. As you will read, his experiences of peoples and cultures from around the world bring a flare and originality to his work that would be impossible to duplicate.

Malcolm Twist (a.k.a Twist and Shout) art directed his first beer campaign before he was old enough to even drink beer. This branding campaign is what led to the creation of Tui Beer’s iconic status today. (If you are reading this in New Zealand right now, you are probably nodding your head and saying “ahhhh”. In fact you might be drinking one now. If you aren’t in New Zealand at this time you’ll just have to trust us on its popularity.) Beginning his career at the tender age of 19, Malcolm brings a much appreciated and much utilized level of award-winning advertising experience to our small and humble Design Shop. He has worked at some of the largest and most well-known agencies across the globe; including Saatchi in New Zealand, BBDO in NZ and EURO RSCG in Singapore. Before reuniting with his old mates here at Haddad & Partners, Malcolm worked at Digitas NYC.

Currently, Malcolm works from Melbourne, Australia with his wife Kelly-Anne and his 3-year old daughter Leona; every 5 years he seems to move just a little closer to his native New Zealand.
