Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at H&P

We’re a global and multicultural team and our rich cultures, diverse perspectives and unique experiences fuel creativity, collaboration, innovation, and some of the best work around.

Diversity ignites creativity

With decades of combined experience in the creative space, the leadership team is committed to creating an environment that empowers the team to let their true selves shine through in all aspects of their work. By hiring the most innovative talent from diverse cultures, gender identities, sexual orientations, ages and abilities, Haddad & Partners brings together a wide representation of diverse voices to create a future-facing and inclusive agency unlike any other. Our people are our superpower.

Our global diversity

Our team represents more than 16 countries globally, and over 25% of us speak two or more languages fluently. Over the past few years, we’ve made significant progress in our racial diversity, increasing the number of team members who identify as People of Color, and nearly doubling representation levels of both Black and Asian teammates. We’ve also grown representation of those in the LGBTQ+ community, those who identify as non-binary or gender diverse, and those with disabilities or sensory impairments.

Our approach

H&P fosters an environment that celebrates the cultures of our global team, and aims to make an impact in the communities our workfam live in. We don’t just talk about it, here are just a few of the ways we walk the walk:

Learning to Unlearn

Learning to Unlearn is an employee-initiated engagement program dedicated to the exploration of social justice issues and viewpoints different from most mainstream narratives. The program fosters honest conversations about issues in and outside of the workplace, with the shared goals of unlearning biases and becoming better allies for historically marginalized communities.

With over 18 languages spoken on staff, our teammates are eager to learn from one another. This language-swap program encourages just that, while building deeper relationships and interpersonal connections.

Since 2019 H&P has partnered with Laboratoria to help find awesome women to join our web development and UX design teams. Laboratoria trains women based in Latin America, equipping them with the expertise needed to embark on successful careers in technology. In a male-dominated industry, we’re proud to work with a tech team that empowers women in leadership and promotes cultural inclusion.

Summer Studio

Summer Studio is built to break barriers for better design. We recognize that accessibility to tools and education in design is limited for most inner-city talent, and we’d like to change that. This program provides high school students with a free intensive program to learn the basics of graphic design while building a portfolio and a resource network.

Internship Program

H&P hosts countless college students, recent grads and those of all ages seeking opportunity in our industry. This program places interns with a mentor-supervisor to learn from while gaining on-the-job agency experience. The program runs three sessions annually, and offers school credit and a competitive stipend.

Supplier Diversity Program

In addition to increasing diverse representation among our staff, we aim to offer opportunities to businesses owned by racial minority members, women, veterans, people with a disability, LGBTQ+ community members, economically or socially underserved people, and those located in a historically underutilized business zone.
